Everything around the Dnipropetrovsk International Airport is covered in a blanket of white snow. The pilot of the Austrian Airlines from Vienna to Dnipro had earlier informed passengers of the weather condition in Dnipro. The temperature is expected to be between -2C to 2C, very cold indeed but it's going to be a warm lovely winter :)
After clearing the immigration without any hassle (I prayed hard for this trip to be as easy as possible), I walk towards the arrival area. Although it is an international airport, there are only two international flights in and out of Dnipro and the airport is not as crowded as other international airports.
There she was....as lovely as I had imagined, clad in a light blue parka, a grey snow cap with matching black and white scarf. We ran towards each other and hugged. It was a long hug....and both of us are in tears....tears of joy. I can feel her heart beating and I'm sure she can feel mine. We have been looking forward to this meeting for the past few months. Both of us prayed hard and let Allah decide the 'how', all we did was set an intention and worked our way based on gut feelings and the many divine 'indicators' which opened the way. It is a miraculous journey for both of us. Never in our wildest dream that this would happen. Thank you Allah for this miracle and the many other miracles along the way. Please make us amongst the few who are always grateful for all Your blessings.
